Who we are looking for :
The Wire Specialist II will encompass a wide range of duties that support the Deposit Operations Team and other departments within the Bank.
This role will also be responsible for monitoring and processing all items related to wires within Deposit Operations, including monthly reporting to upper management and the Board.
This position will also provide backup to Deposit Operations and Treasury Support staff when needed.
What you'll do :
- Review and process incoming & outgoing wires
- Accept and transmit outgoing wires
- Maintain wire agreements
- Ensure proper approvals per transaction limits grid have been followed prior to release
- Responsible for wire reporting & reconciliation
- Monitor for suspicious activity and report usual activity to Fraud Department & BSA / AML / OFAC
- Ensure documents are properly imaged into ECM
- Wire suspense
- Report any wire fraud to the Fraud Department via Incident Report
- Responsible for providing back-up to Deposit Operations and Treasury Support where needed
What you'll need to be successful :
Success in this job relies on your time management skills, organization, and positive attitude. In addition, you'll need the following qualifications :
- High School diploma or GED
- Must have 2-5 years banking deposit operations experience
- A thorough knowledge / understanding of policies, procedures, and regulations pertaining to the work of the Deposit Operations Specialist
- Ability to work in a team environment to accomplish shared goals
- Best-in-class customer service skills are a must
- Must be self-motivated, and energetic, have the ability to work independently and proactively while prioritizing workload, and ability to multi-task
- Strong analytical reasoning, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Effective verbal and written communicator
- Must be well organized with attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Title Company and Fintech experience a plus
- Strong computer and technology-related skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
