Job Description
We are looking to hire a Reporting Analyst to work on the Idaho National Laboratory Learning Services Team! Learning Services' (LS) mission is to ensure that staff members possess the necessary knowledge and skills to fulfill INL's objectives and contribute to successful business outcomes.
The Reporting Analyst will be on the Learning Performance team who works to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of LS operations.
Our team works a 9x80 schedule with every other Friday off. Remote work opportunities may be available for this position.
This is a project hire position anticipated to last approximately two years. The Reporting Analyst is responsible for the creation, maintenance, and support of reporting solutions to enhance business decision making.
This individual will work closely with teams lab-wide to translate business needs into actionable data. Responsibilities Include :
- Responds to and addresses customer requests in a timely manner
- Discover and analyze business requirements for reporting needs
- Design, create, and maintain reports using querying tools and databases
- Work to ensure data accuracy during development
- Collaborate with data analysts to ensure report quality and reliability
- Provide support for ad-hoc data analysis projects
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Qualifications : Minimum Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Management, Statistics, or related field with at least 2 years of experience as a reporting analyst, data analyst, or similar
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and charting
- Has a robust functional knowledge of SQL with the ability to develop, troubleshoot, and optimize queries
- Comfort with databases and data models
- Experience with basic statistical analysis techniques
- Familiarity with data visualization best practices is helpful
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Looker or other data visualization tools is helpful
- Proficiency with Power Query is helpful
- Familiarity with a Learning Management System (LMS) platform is helpful
Job Information :
The pay range for this position is $63,528 - $130,284. At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.
