About the Job

You may have noticed the artisanal food hall, lounge, cowork and event space we are creating on the corner of S Main and Burnett Streets in Sebastopol.

Farm to Coast Collective at The Livery on Main is a community revitalization project which is a fresh new take on a food hall concept - one which will support local chefs as the start or expand their businesses.

Our family of companies, The Beale Group (business management and strategy services), Builders' Studio of Sebastopol (architecture & engineering) and Thrive Construction Group (general contractor) are working collaboratively on this project which is expected to open its doors to the public in late 2023.

We are currently seeking experienced, non-union carpenters to help us with the project as well as other, local custom residential projects.

Job Description

Are you a carpenter with 5+ years experience who lives in Sonoma County? (FYI - if you don't live in Sonoma County, please don't apply.

We place an extremely high value on quality of life and unnecessarily sitting in traffic goes against everything we believe in.)

Are you capable of successfully leading a small crew respectfully? (We do not tolerate brilliant jerks here.)

Do you consider yourself as someone with solid experience in residential construction / remodeling from foundations to finish?

Are you motivated to work quickly, efficiently and without sacrificing quality?

Are you someone who thrives on the personal satisfaction that comes from a job well done?

Do clients love you because they can tell that you truly care about them and their property?

Do your co-workers know they can depend on you to be where you are supposed to be on time (or early) and get 'er done?

Do you consider mistakes to be opportunities for growth (not opportunities for finger pointing)?

Are you humble enough to admit you don't understand something? Do you feel comfortable asking for help?

Qualifications

5+ years prior foundation, rough and finish carpentry experience required.
