Restoration Mitigation Supervisor Job Summary

This important position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of restoration projects including water / fire / smoke / mold damage, ensuring projects are properly scheduled, planned, and completed efficiently and on budget, while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction.

To be considered, candidates must have proven experience in water / fire / smoke / mold mitigation jobs and project management, as well as relevant IICRC certifications including WRT, AMRT, and ASD.

Restoration Project Manager / Lead Technician Responsibilities

• Effectively schedule, plan, budget, manage and oversee water and other restoration projects (fire / smoke / mold).
• Properly assess, document and report restoration projects from start to finish including performing field inspections, taking photographs / videos, measurements, and moisture readings, and using project management software to prepare estimates and reports.
• Effectively manage, supervise, and train technicians in water, fire, smoke and mold remediation industry standards, best practices, and company processes.
• Effectively and timely communicate and coordinate with clients, insurance representatives, vendors, subcontractors, technicians and labor to ensure timely completion of all projects.
• Foster team culture and positive work environment while providing leadership, training, and guidance to technicians and others.

Restoration Project Manager Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven experience in water and mold damage restoration / project management role within the restoration industry.
• Current IICRC (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification) certifications required : WRT, AMRT, ASD, FSRT (min. 2)
• Strong understanding of operational processes, employee management skills, and excellent customer service.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to lead crews of technicians and temp labor.
• Ability to strategize, solve problems effectively, and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven knowledge of and experience in insurance claims process : claims documentation, Xactimate estimates, satisfying adjuster requirements.
• Proficiency in computer technologies including CRM / scheduling / project management tools, Xactimate, Word, Excel, computers, iPads, phones, etc.
• Ability and willingness to work in the field with technician crews.
• IMPORTANT NOTE : applicants without minimum required industry experience and certifications will NOT be considered.
