About the Team

Our Cloud Platform Engineering team is a small, global team with a footprint in the United States and Europe. Our engineers bring a wide breadth of experience in hybrid and cross-cloud architectures with backgrounds spanning both software development and systems operations.

About the Role

As part of our Platform Engineering team, you will be designing and building Azure DevOps pipelines and automated DevOps processes to empower our product development teams to rapidly deliver applications to our customers.

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent IT degree.
  • Experience working as an Azure Cloud Engineer.
  • In-depth knowledge of some of our core DevSecOps Tech Stacks (Azure DevOps Build and Deploy Pipelines, SonaType Nexus, SonarQube, Veracode, Datadog, and Cloud Security Controls).
  • Working Knowledge of Azure Cloud Tenants, Subscriptions, Resource Groups, IAM, Active Directory, Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Azure Databases, and Azure Hub / Spoke Virtual Networking.
  • Ability to administer an Azure Tenant and multiple Azure Subscriptions.
  • Ability to utilize Azure DevOps to automate application builds and deploys.
  • Expertise in creating Infrastructure as Code (ARM Templates) to build and maintain applications and infrastructure in our Azure Subscriptions.
  • Security monitoring and patching of our Azure infrastructure.
  • Azure and AWS Network implementations, DNS, and SSL Certificates.
  • Passionate believer in Infrastructure as Code or codifying everything! (ARM, CloudFormation, Terraform, Helm, Yaml Pipelines).
  • Designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting cloud-native infrastructure including virtual servers, serverless, and containerized compute workloads.
  • Role Based Access Controls (RBAC), Identity Access Management (IAM), Microsoft Directory Services (MS AD / Entra), Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), and Federated Identity Management.
  • Strong understanding of Azure DevOps Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery pipelines and practical experience implementing it within a large project.
  • Familiarity with Command Line Interface (CLI) based tools, Integrated Development Environments (IDE) and Software Development Kits (SDK).
  • Authoring complex scripts or tools, with a focus on process automation, using a major scripting language such as Python or PowerShell.
  • Working Knowledge of Git, Packer, and Docker.

Responsibilities

  • Interfacing with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements.
  • Completing complex bug fixes.
  • Successfully implementing development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews.
  • Operating in Agile development environments while collaborating with key stakeholders.
  • Resolving complex technical issues as necessary.
  • Engineering, automating, securing, monitoring, and troubleshooting our Azure and AWS Cloud infrastructure.
  • Contributing to architectural decisions and the creation of our Azure, AWS, and Kubernetes infrastructure.
