We are looking for individuals to support us during an emergency event. Our team is seeking dedicated individuals who thrive in disaster emergencies to join our team as needed during emergency events.

Responsibilities for Supply Specialist :

• Monitor the adequacy of equipment and supplies, including quality maintenance and securing storage of merchandise.
• Manage order requests, verify shipment details, and perform data entry tasks such as updating the database for incoming and outgoing supplies.
• Execute effective and transparent communication internally, externally, and between different units.
• Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) or Capacity Requirements Planning (CPR) processes is preferred.
• Perform assigned tasks in a safe manner that will encourage others to exercise safety in their normal daily activities.
• Manage multiple projects from initiation through planning, execution, controlling, and closing.

Skills :

• Knowledge of safety procedures within the department.
• Project management and clinical customer relationship building.
• Understanding of project team structure and processes.
• Familiarity with customer's team structures and processes.
• Production control.
• Experience with Windows and SAP environments.

Minimum Requirements :

Possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform assigned tasks and be drug-free.

Labor Rates : The following rates include labor wages, lodging, per diem, and travel. The labor rate is inclusive of straight time and overtime.

Supply Specialist : $41.00 / hr.

Each applicant interested in supporting in Louisiana will need to deploy and arrive at the designated site within 24 to 48 hours from the time of notice.

Each applicant will need to complete their onboarding packet. It is uncertain as to the locations where personnel will be needed, but they will be located at a staging area established by the Department of Children and Family Services Deployments or other state agencies in various regions of the state.
