U) The Modeling Team Lead is responsible for supporting the Analysis Tradecraft and Technology (AT) Group-level Modeling Lead in developing the future of modeling at NGA as well as communicating and educating the Analytic Operations (AO) and AT workforce on modeling advancements.
U) Primary duties and responsibilities :
Support AT Group-level Modeling Lead
Provide modeling tradecraft expertise in support of technology development in conjunction with AT colleagues
Lead or oversee studies, pilots, or experiments that evaluate modeling concepts, capabilities, and tools, and provide feedback and recommendations to ATP and others as appropriate
Engage NGA and IC partners to ensure modeling advancements support related modernization efforts that result in a holistic modernized analytic workflow
Provide updates on the status of modeling to AT leadership and AO through a variety of forums, including regular meetings, Tradecraft HUB, Analysis Dialogue, etc
Support development of learning solutions and training materials with partners in ATP and the National Geospatial-Intelligence College
Engage with the IC and International Partners through conferences and publishing tradecraft products
Remain aware of developments in modeling across the IC and in public industry
U) The Analytic Modernization Branch (ATPTM) serves GEOINT producers in Analysis Operations and partner organizations, providing hands-on assistance and coordinating major initiatives across the agency and Intelligence Community.
For each of these, ATPTM analysts leverage their mission expertise and practical experience to increase usage and utility of these applications across NGA and the IC.

Minimum Qualifications Required Mandatory Qualifications :
Familiarity with adversary activity modeling efforts and objectives
Intellectual curiosity and initiative to drive research, projects and new ideas
Ability to work independently and within a team
Strong organizational, problem solving, and critical thinking skills, and the ability to be a fast learner
Familiarity with knowledge graphs and modeling techniques and their application to intelligence analysis
Desired Qualifications :
Demonstrated ability to tackle Analysis mission gaps using creative and innovative approaches
Experience working analytic mission or an understanding of AO mission needs
Familiarity with other Analytic Modernization initiatives, to include, Structured Observation Management, Object-Based Production and / or Computer Vision
