About the Job :
Under general supervision of the Director / Manager, Medical Staff Services, the Documentation Tracking and Orientation Coordinator is responsible for assuring that all Medical and Allied Health Staff are oriented to the organization as required by regulations.
They will also provide administrative and documentation tracking support; and will assist the director / manager with all medical staff requirements and maintaining records and systems that result in efficient program operations.
What You’ll Do :
- Coordinate orientation for all newly credentialed Medical and Advanced staff. Track completed signed orientation schedules and upload into database
- Perform ID Proofing for EPCS requirements.
- Facilitate Focused Provider Performance Evaluation Process (FPPE). Contact Department Chair / Section Chief of Provider to set up proctor, send policy and performance monitoring forms to proctor and provider, and track and submit the completed forms.
- Generate reports and track expiring credentials.
- Run monthly expirable reports from the credentialing software and send email reminders to providers whose documentation is due to expire.
- Verify and update database when new documentation is received from provider.
Who You Are :
- High school diploma or Equivalent requiredSome college preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years in an office environment performing similar / related work.Hospital or Medical Center setting experience preferred
