Job Summary : We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for various projects.

This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and costs, as well as the ability to analyze project specifications and drawings.

Key Responsibilities :

• Review project specifications, drawings, and other documents to understand the scope of work.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
• Analyze and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure accurate and comprehensive estimates.
• Monitor and update cost estimates as project conditions change.
• Maintain a database of historical cost data for reference in future estimates.
• Prepare and present cost estimate reports to management and clients.
• Convert estimate files to job files.
• Document all relevant project information for use by the operations team.
• Hold project turnover meetings with the operations team and communicate project-specific knowledge.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction estimating.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and costs.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience with mechanical estimating.
• Certification in construction estimating or a related field.
