Restaurant Manager Responsibilities
- Lead and direct a large team of service staff
- Oversee hiring in the service department
- Focuses on perfect guest experiences and ensures all guests leave happy
- Oversees training and development of all FOH staff
- Maintains a fair schedule for all team members and ensures proper coverage of all shifts
- Holds daily pre-shift meetings and keeps staff informed
- Holds all staff accountable and sets action plans with continued follow-up
- Effectively communicates with General Manager
- Ensures strict standards for safety and sanitation
- Ensures schedules are written to budget
- Works directly with the Event Coordinator for staffing on all events, parties, and catering
- Maintains high standards for uniform and hygiene of all staff members
- Monitor guest satisfaction, including online reviews
- Lead with integrity and respect
Restaurant Manager Requirements :
- 2 years Manager experience or higher in a Full Service, High-Volume Restaurant
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Highly Organized
- Hospitality Degree preferred but not required
- Serv Safe Certified preferred
- Proficient in MS Office, experience with Toast is a plus
- Authorized to work in the United States
