Location : Colorado (Hybrid - 2 days in the office, remaining remote)

Salary Range : $150,000 - $175,000

Interviews : In-person interviews are required

Position Overview :

The Sr. Enterprise Data Architect will be a key leader responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust data architecture that supports our organization’s strategic initiatives.

You’ll work closely with Enterprise Architects to create end-to-end architecture solutions that ensure our data is accessible, secure, and aligned with business goals.

This position requires hands-on leadership in technology direction, platform selection, and process implementation, as well as collaboration across teams to deliver integrated solutions.

What You’ll Do :

• Design and implement high-quality, scalable data architectures that align with enterprise standards and business requirements
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to ensure seamless integration across applications, cloud strategies, and data systems
• Lead the evaluation and adoption of new technologies to enhance the organization’s data architecture
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to development teams, ensuring strategic goals are met
• Promote reuse of assets, architectural consistency, and simplicity across multiple platforms
• Drive efforts toward cloud-based data strategies, data lakes, and modernized data governance
• Interface with senior leadership, including the CIO and Chief Architect, to align technical solutions with organizational goals

Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least 5 years of experience as a Data Architect with expertise in both application and data architecture
• 10-15 years of overall technical experience in software, application development, and data systems
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Java, Kafka, microservices, and API architecture
• Experience with Oracle databases and data governance
• Working knowledge of modern cloud technologies, including data lakes and microservices
• Strong process design skills and experience working on cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications :

• AWS certification or relevant certifications in cloud architecture and data governance
• Experience in the financial services industry or similarly regulated environments
• COBOL or mainframe experience is a plus
