Conrad Indianapolis is looking for a Senior Food & Beverage Manager ! This is an opportunity to grow your career within a Fortune 500 company and a sophisticated luxury brand.
As the city's first true luxury hotel and only Forbes recommended hotel in the state, this 23-story tower has 241 rooms, 15,000 square feet of banquet space, and 3 food and beverage outlets : The Capital Grille, Tastings - Wine Bar & Bistro, and In-Room dining. The role reports to the Director of Food & Beverage and directly oversees 25 Front of House Food & Beverage team members.
The ideal candidate will bring at least 2 years of restaurant leadership experience, a background in luxury or Forbes-rated hotel environments, and a strong foundation in wine and spirits knowledge. This role requires someone who can inspire and lead a team while consistently delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced, high-touch setting.
Responsibilities
Prepare, assign, and delegate responsibility and authority for the operation of the various food and beverage departments. This role will primarily oversee the lobby lounge.Work with the Director of Food & Beverage and Culinary leadership to create promotions and specials for the lobby lounge.Support in the planning and direction of all Food & Beverage functions.Develop, implement, and monitor schedules for the lobby lounge operation to achieve profitable results.Implement effective controls of food, beverage, and labor costs and monitor the food and beverage budget to ensure an efficient operation.Regularly review, evaluate, and respond to customer satisfaction and / or dissatisfaction and recommend new operating or marketing policies when needed.Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures that relate to food and beverage, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations.Hire, train, supervise, develop, discipline, counsel, and evaluate line employees according to Hilton policies and procedures.Serve alcoholic / non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations.Qualifications
