The Cardiovascular Care Unit team is looking for a Critical Care Tech who will use a broad range of skills including assisting with bedside procedures, responding to critical patient events, ensure environmental regulatory standards are observed to assist in maintaining a safe unit environment for patients, visitors and staff members.
The Cardiovascular Care Unit is a 30-bed Intermediate & Intensive Care specialty cardiac unit caring for heart failure, surgical cardiac, thoracic and vascular patients, acute coronary syndrome- interventional cardiology and electrophysiology services.

Background / Expertise :
- Recent experience in critical care service setting required
- Currently licensed in the State of Oregon to practice as a CNA
- BLS from the American Heart Association required
Core Functions :
- Equipment and maintenance oversite in collaboration with Clinical Engineering and Facilities
- Manage ordering and stocking specialty supplies
- Responds to all in-patient hospital Code Blue and Code Airway / Alerts
- Performs Monitor Tech and Unit Clerk duties as assigned.
- Basic Cardiac Monitoring Competent
- Performs 12 lead EKGs as assigned
- Completes EKG competency
- Assists with bedside procedures for which competency has been demonstrated
