Position Overview

The Data Scientist within the Advanced Analytics Team of the commercial organization will be accountable for driving the development of advanced analytical models to solve challenging business problems.

The individual will work with multi-disciplinary teams to understand the needs of the business and ensure that model outputs are translated into actionable business insights.

Responsibilities :

• Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to understand business needs and translate them into well-defined analytical projects.
• Lead projects with external vendors and partners, effectively communicating requirements and ensuring timely and successful project outcomes.
• Utilize hands-on data exploration and coding skills to develop advanced analytical models for solving business problems.
• Apply a broad array of modeling techniques, including machine learning and traditional statistics, to derive actionable insights from structured and unstructured data sources.
• Integrate analytical outputs with real-world and digital data streams to address multi-channel analytics, patient pathways, omni-channel segmentation, and next best action strategies.
• Foster an agile and collaborative culture, closely aligning with the business to deliver timely solutions to key priorities.
• Collaborate with analytics leaders and cross-functional teams to identify business challenges suitable for advanced analytics solutions.
• Continuously learn new analytical skills, techniques, and tools to maintain a competitive advantage. Participate actively in internal and external technology communities.
• Communicate technical subject matter clearly and concisely to various audiences.
• Provide guidance to offshore data scientists and data engineers.

Basic Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 4 + Years of experience in relevant fields such as data analysis, statistics modeling, or data science.
• Hands-on experience in data exploration and developing models for commercial applications, ensuring repeatability.
• Proficiency in data management basics (SQL queries, database connections), data preparation, statistical learning (regression analyses, dimensionality reduction, etc.), and ML algorithms.
• Strong Skills in Python or R.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Master's degree in data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Marketing, or Life Sciences.
• Understanding of various data structures and common methods in data transformation.
• Demonstrated initiative, judgment, and discretion in handling data.
• Knowledge of Statistical techniques such as market mix modelling, test control analysis, A / B testing, promotion response modes, and optimization a strong plus.
• Knowledge of the data landscape in healthcare is a plus.
• Experience with dashboard tools such as Tableau or PowerBI is a plus.
• Experience working in Microsoft Azure Databricks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to stakeholders and senior leaders effectively.
