MDS Coordinator Nursing Home Facility Full-time Day Shift Mon-Fri
MDS Coordinator LPN or RN Position Overview :
Recruiting now hiring a full-time MDS Coordinator. MDS Coordinator is responsible for implementing the federally mandated assessment tool to identify the concerns of the residents and to coordinate a plan of care to assist the residents toward optimal wellness based on the highest practicable level of functioning.

MDS Coordinator Key Duties :
- Manage the overall process and tracking of all Medicare / Medicaid case-mix documents to assure appropriate reimbursement for services provided within the nursing center.
- Conduct concurrent MDS reviews to assure achievement to maximum allowable RUG categories.
- Integrate information from nursing, dietary, social services, restorative, rehabilitation, and physician services to ensure appropriate reimbursement.
Perform other job-related duties as they become required.
MDS Coordinator Qualifications :
- MDS / RAI experience. Skilled Nursing Experience Preferred.
- Must have LPN or RN certification in Florida.
- Knowledgeable of all Medicaid legal regulations, guidelines, and best practices.
- Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Word and Excel. Power Point and Outlook, Internet navigation.
