The Position :

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Business Intelligence and Requirements Analyst to join our growing team. This role leads the data analysis, business intelligence, technical planning and requirements gathering, project backlog management, performance reporting and creation of program dashboards.

The ideal candidate will have experience with BI, data analysis and reporting as well as support requirements development for a fast-moving program.

Role Specific Duties :

Establish program baseline and report project progress with percent complete on a periodic basis.

Develop program and Executive dashboards

Conduct data analysis and develop and share deep insights into project progress, risks and issues

Create periodic reports with data analysis including appropriate charts and to help convey program progress and

Support agile development process as a requirements expert including capture of epics and user stories

Perform process analysis in an evolving data environment and make recommendations for project improvement and efficiencies

Elicit requirements using interviews, requirements workshops, storyboards, and other techniques to document clear and concise user stories

Conduct analysis and provide alternatives to business owners to ease decision making and product options including use of use cases, scenarios, event lists, business analysis, task and workflow analysis, and suitable visualizations

Manage requirements traceability information and track requirements status throughout the project lifecycle

Establish and implement effective requirements practices, including use and continuous improvement of a requirements process

Support creation and update of Enterprise Lifecycle artifacts for Milestone exits and to support other SDLC needs

Provide support to Team lead on any other assignments

Requirements

Required Qualifications :

BS Degree in Sciences, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics

8+ years of experience working with large IT projects using Enterprise SDLC in areas like software development, test, and project management support

4+ years of business intelligence and data analysis including creation of project reports and dashboards

3+ years of experience with documenting system requirements preferably for projects using Agile Lifecycle

Knowledge of Splunk for search and dashboard creation

Knowledge of Tableau and other analysis and reporting tools

Must possess excellent oral and writing skills with prior experience in documentation of processes and procedures

Expert knowledge of requirements management process including maintaining a traceability matrix using enterprise requirements management tools

Deep experience and knowledge of IBM Rational ELM highly desirable

Ability to work independently with little to no direction as well as function well in agile teams

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills

Ability to work in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment with aggressive project timelines and continual client delivery

Ability to work in a team-oriented, inclusive, very collaborative work environment and work with the team to achieve consensus

Ability to grasp new concepts quickly, comprehend the intent of a client's needs, and help to shape and form the solution by leveraging team capabilities.
