Registered Nurse (RN)Supervisor
Buffalo Center is seekingmotivated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisors for ourSkilled Nursing Facility located in BuffaloNY .
The position entails overseeing nursing unitsand acting as a mentor for the nurses on those units. The idealcandidate will have 3 years of prior Long Term Care and ChargeNurse experience and an excellent positive attitude! Candidate mustalso be available to work every otherweekend.
DutiesInclude :
- Complete resident carerequirements by scheduling and assigning nursing staff
- Establish a compassionate environment by providingsupport to residents & families
- Provideinformation to residents & staff by answering questions andrequests
- Establish a safe & clean workingenvironment by implementing rules & regulations
- Promote resident confidence by monitoring confidentialinformation processing
- Manage documentation ofresident care services
- Maintain a cooperativerelationship among health care teams
Requirements :
- Must hold valid NYS RN license
- Minimum 3 years LongTerm Care experiencerequired
- Strong and positive Team Director forall members of the staff
- Familiar with EHR andEperscribing programs
- Excellent communicationskills
- Basic computer skills
- Must be available to work every other weekend.
