Serves as clinical expert providing education,research, coaching, direct care, consultation, leadershipcollaboration and ethical decision making for patients and surgicalservices staff.
Serves as a change agent and promotes qualitythrough the utilization of clinical expertise. Provides clinicalcare as needed when staffing and / or case load demands.
Communicatespatient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to leader(s)as needed.
Qualifications :
MINIMUM EDUCATIONREQUIRED :
High School Diploma or GED.
Graduate of a Surgical TechnologyProgram
MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED :
Two (2) years of Operating RoomSurgical Tech experience.
MINIMUMLICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BYLAW :
Certification as a Surgical TechnologistRequired
BLS certificationrequired.
ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS :
BLS certification required.
Demonstrated clinical competency.
