Carpenter
The Resort at Longboat Key Club is currently seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for a variety of carpentry tasks including construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of wooden structures and fixtures.
The carpenter will perform scheduled and planned work along with responding to immediate needs. This position may include work from elevated platforms and confined spaces throughout the Company property.
Responsibilities :
- Construct, install, and repair wooden structures and fixtures
- Frame and Fascia. Furniture repair. cabinet building. Fabrication of solid and laminate counter tops. Roof repair. Drywall installation, concrete work.
- Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of the project
- Measure, cut, and shape wood materials accurately
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures as needed
- Other duties as requested.
Requirements :
- Proven experience as a Carpenter
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and tools
- Ability to read blueprints and building plans
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity
