A consumer products company in New Jersey is looking to add a new Business Analyst (Cloud / Data) to their growing team.
This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 3 days a week.
Responsibilities :
The Business Analyst (Cloud / Data) will :
- Assess AS-IS processes and develop new processes and / or business flows to leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) capabilities of Software-As-A-Service (SAAS)
- Consult with Data Engineering team and Functional Unit Owners and document a gap analysis of capabilities, requirements and needs against technology
- Apply business process re-engineering methodologies for systems modernization
- Develop new standard operating procedures documentation and a handbook for Data Lake
- Prepare and present findings, recommendations, new operating models, and new workflows in consultation with the Data Engineering team
- Creates methodology to measure process performance against established metrics
- Work with the business users to analyze processes and system issues and turn them into actionable system changes that benefit the requesting party(s), improve efficiency in operations and overall performance
- Collaborate with project teams and business partners during project planning, incremental software delivery reviews, and User Acceptance testing to ensure the software has been implemented based on the specifications
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications :
- 10+ years of IT experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, and / or a related
- Experience in Systems Analysis, Data Analysis & Design with proven record of successful large scale project implementations
- Experience in SDLC and Agile / Scrum methodology, including : eliciting / documenting user stories / acceptance criteria, backlog management, and Sprint reviews
- Experience in Data Modeling
- Experience in Process Re-engineering
- Knowledge of Information Security Awareness
- Solid understanding of Web Applications
Desired Skills :
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar certification
- Experience with enterprise Business-to-Business durableable goods, construction, or building materials manufacturing
- Experience in Jira
- Experience in Google Cloud technology
