Our client, an established insurance brokerage in the Southeast, is looking for an experienced Commercial Lines Bond Account Manager to expand their bonding division.
This role focuses on managing a diverse range of bonds, with an emphasis on miscellaneous and contractor bonds.
Key Responsibilities :
Evaluate client bond needs and provide expert guidance on appropriate solutions
Manage the entire bond lifecycle, from application to issuance and renewal
Collaborate with underwriters to secure favorable terms for clients
Maintain strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and internal stakeholders
Oversee billing processes and assist with collections for bond accounts
Prepare and review documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Handle client inquiries and resolve issues promptly
The ideal candidate will bring :
4+ years of experience in commercial bond management, especially with probate, bid, and contractor bonds
Active Property and Casualty Insurance License
In-depth knowledge of bond underwriting processes and risk assessment
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to explain complex concepts to clients
Proficiency in industry-specific software (experience with AMS360 and ImageRight is a plus)
This position offers a competitive compensation package and the chance to play a crucial role in the agency's growth. The position is fully remote, however the candidate must live in AL, GA, or TN.
