This job posting is for a Battery Test Engineering Operations Leader at a leading company in the battery technology sector, who are revolutionizing the industry with their predictive algorithms.
The role involves leadership in managing and optimizing battery testing infrastructure and processes, specifically for electric mobility applications.
Responsibilities :
- Building and maintaining automated battery test infrastructure from cells to packs.
- Implementing test setups for Battery Management Software (BMS) across cells, packs, and vehicles.
- Ensuring testing solutions are scalable and meet regulatory and customer standards.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align testing capabilities with product development.
- Traveling to external test facilities to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Key Skills & Qualifications :
- MS degree in a technical field such as electrical engineering, computer science, or physics.
- At least 5 years of experience in battery testing, preferably in the automotive or electric vehicle industries.
- Strong knowledge of lithium-ion battery technology and safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262).
- Leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams and project management.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
