We are seeking an experienced full-time Contracts Administrator to become an important part of a rapidly growing team for our Concord, Massachusetts office.
This position reports to the Contracts Manager and is responsible for administering the companys prime contracts, subcontracts, and proposal activities to ensure accountability in accordance with applicable company policy and government regulations.
Work-from-home flexibility may be considered.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in finance, business or a related specialized area plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience;
Training and professional certification from National Contract Management Association (NCMA) or other related professional development association is preferred
Must demonstrate strong attention to detail, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills;
Excellent planning and time management skills.
Understanding of Government competitive proposal process
- Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, Data Rights and Intellectual Property issues;
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Applications, particularly Microsoft Excel;
- Capable of handling several assignments concurrently while still meeting deadlines;
Must be willing to participate in any emergent role in a fast-paced environment; and
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level
Job Functions and Responsibilities :
- Providing hands-on administration and management of contracts (proposal submission through contract closeout);
- Providing hands-on administration and management of subcontracts (proposal submission through contract closeout);
- Supporting the preparation of cost proposals in response to government and prime contractor requests for proposals;
- Supporting the negotiations of contracts with terms and conditions favorable to the company;
- Drafting, reviewing and supporting negotiations of various other agreements such as Non-disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, License Agreements, etc.;
- Assisting program managers during project setups, including contract kick off meetings, interpretation and application of contract terms and conditions, and timely dissemination of contract information;
Support Government property administration, audits, and closeout activities,
- Interfacing with purchasing and supply chain administrators to ensure compliance with prime contract requirements, corporate policies, and approved business systems;
- Understanding and recommending opportunities and approaches to minimize exposure to contractual risk;
Perform government regulation research and other duties as may be assigned.
