We are looking for a Senior Regional Manager (Western, High Mountains, & Foothills Regions) to help us keep growing. The Senior Regional Manager is responsible for upholding Abound Health mission, vision and values by providing support, services, education and compassion to staff and the clients they support receiving Innovations Waiver or State Funded Services.

JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES :

Administrative

  • Establish regional strategic and developmental plans
  • Meet established KPIs and deliverables
  • Administrative supervision of Regional Managers, Program Directors, QPs, local support staff, and direct care staff (e.

g., ensure office coverage on daily basis, review / recommend approval of vacation / sick leave requests, verify time sheets and mileage reimbursement requests)

  • Serve as liaison between local office(s) and corporate office
  • Serve as liaison with Managed Care Organizations (MCO) and / or other human service agencies
  • Determine and / or assign or re-assign local office caseloads; ensure QP coverage for consumers and staff; ensure balanced caseloads for local office managers and QPs
  • Ensure Policies and Procedures are followed
  • Facilitate and / or assist with regional team communications and meetings
  • Attend relevant MCO activities and participate on relevant committees
  • Participate in staff development activities
  • Manage calendar and prioritize necessary meetings
  • Manage and / or support authorization and accounts receivable process
  • Support pay rate requests

Clinical

  • Provide clinical oversight and supervision of Regional Managers, Program Directors, QPs, and direct care staff per supervision contracts inclusive of developing clinical employee development goals and documenting the employees progress toward meeting these goals
  • Coordinate and assist with the intake of new clients in the assigned region.
  • Documentation of supervision of Program Directors and other clinical staff as needed.
  • Monitor service authorizations for all individuals in assigned geographic area; assist local office staff in problem solving with MCO and Care Coordinators as relates to authorizations
  • Monitor and follow-up on incident reports
  • Assist in the investigation, documentation, and follow up with NC Health Care Personnel Registry staff on allegations of abuse, neglect, and exploitation
  • Participate in Human Rights Committee(HRC) meetings as necessary, review positive behavioral support plans and benign protective devices annually submitting the appropriate reviews to clinical director prior to HRC meetings and prepare and submit reviews of restrictive behavior support plans and restrictive devices annually to the HRC

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Attention to accuracy and detail in all aspects of responsibilities.
  • Must be flexible and open to changing priorities and high demand tasks
  • Possess strong skills and understanding of software applications.
  • Be hands-on, proactive, results driven, and engaged to fulfill all requirements as outlined in the above section.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written); professional and presents well when interacting with Service Recipients, Family Members, Abound Health Team Members, other stakeholders as wells as community members.
  • Ability to grasp mission, vision and values of Abound Health.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in teams.
  • Ability to multi-task and cope effectively with stress.
  • Ability to analyze situations accurately and think strategically to problem solve by adopting effective course of actions.
  • Ability to envision and grasp both the big picture and details.
  • Thorough understanding of ISP Implementation, Task Analysis and Goal writing.
  • Understanding of requirements of third-party and Medicaid billing
  • Maintain Therapeutic working relationship with Service Recipients, Family Members, Team Members

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Qualified Professional (QP) credentialing preferred but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree in human services preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a supervisory or director role within Intellectual and Development Disability (IDD) field.
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Valid Driver License
  • Safe Driving Record
  • No substantiated findings of abuse and / or neglect
  • Criminal, LEIE, NC Health Care Registry Check and Sexual Offender Background checks clear of health and safety risks
  • Reliable and safe transportation
  • Current Auto Insurance

  • Salary Exempt
  • Hours are Monday-Friday 8am 5pm; extended or weekend hours during extenuating circumstances and as duties dictate.
  • Remote work allowed up to 3 days per week with 2 days in the office. Full Remote depending on location to an Abound office may be approved by Supervisor.
