Land Development Manager Needed!
What You'll Do :
- Lead project due diligence by reviewing budgets, schedules, site reports, and plans. Provide input on project viability and present recommendations to the Investment Committee.
- Manage consultants (engineers, planners, attorneys) throughout construction, ensuring seamless project execution.
- Create and maintain project schedules , reporting progress to leadership.
- Oversee bid and contract processes , including negotiations and change orders.
- Coordinate with government agencies to secure approvals and execute agreements.
- Collaborate with utility companies and other stakeholders to keep projects on track.
- Manage the platting, approval, and permitting process for all project amenities.
- Conduct site inspections and walkthroughs to ensure projects meet quality standards.
- Maintain budgets and provide quarterly performance updates .
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations (NPDES / SWPPP).
- Attend HOA meetings and manage 3rd-party property managers as needed.
Key Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree with 5-7 years of experience in development or construction.
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and tech-savvy.
- Ability to travel overnight and adapt to varied work environments.
- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle required.
