- Manage and litigate employment law cases, with a focus on defense-side employment cases and class action / PAGA matters.
- Handle written discovery and prepare for depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.
- Conduct legal research, negotiate settlements, and draft legal documents.
- Attend depositions, hearings, and other court-related events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional legal services.
- Collaborate with legal team members to ensure efficient and effective case management.
Requirements :
- 3-6 years of experience in employment and labor law, particularly in defense-side litigation.
- Experience with class action and PAGA cases.
- Proficiency in handling depositions, discovery, and trial preparation.
- Strong negotiation, research, writing, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment.
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
- Reside in California.
Education :
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications :
Licensed to practice law in California.
Skills :
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
