This role involves supporting our inside and outside sales department, primarily through data entry and database management.
Main duties include, but are not limited to :
- Handling all incoming phone calls promptly and redirecting to the appropriate party.
- Accurately and efficiently processing orders for items purchased via the web, phone calls, fax, and email.
- Responding to customer inquiries by presenting an array of products, services, pricing details, and delivery times.
- Addressing customer delivery needs by collaborating closely with internal teams and personnel.
- Preparing and transmitting quote requests for customers for items ordered through various channels.
- Maintaining an up-to-date customer database aligned with our company policies.
- Managing a current digital inventory system accounting for price variations, new or removed items, descriptions and other relevant data
Requirements :
- Demonstrated reliability and self-motivation
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and speed in task execution
- Willingness to learn all aspects of the sales operation
- An Associate Degree or High school diploma / general education degree (GED)
- 1-2 years' related work experience and training
- Proficient in word processing software, spreadsheet software
- Experience with inventory software, internet software, order processing systems
- Knowledge of database software, and e-mail.
