Job Overview :
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager for our Tire and Auto Repair Shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service management, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for the automotive industry.
As the Store Manager, you will lead our team to deliver exceptional service, drive sales, optimize operations, and ensure customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Leadership & Management :
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technicians and customer service staff.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and high performance.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Operational Excellence :
- Oversee daily shop operations, ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Manage inventory levels, ordering of tires and auto parts, and maintain vendor relationships.
- Implement and maintain efficient processes to optimize vehicle service turnaround times.
- Customer Service :
- Establish a customer-first culture by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Train staff on best practices for customer interaction, service recommendations, and upselling products and services.
- Analyze customer feedback and implement strategies to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Sales & Marketing :
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly revenue targets and drive profitability.
- Create promotional campaigns to attract new customers and retain existing ones, leveraging local advertising and community engagement.
- Monitor sales performance and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Financial Management :
- Manage the store budget, including labor, inventory, and operational costs, to ensure profitability.
- Oversee cash handling procedures, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Work with accounting to ensure accurate invoicing and payment processing.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in business management or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in retail management, preferably in the automotive sector.
- Strong knowledge of tires, auto repair services, and industry trends.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing budgets.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications.
