Gpac has partnered with one of the best general contractors around! We are seeking a Commercial Junior Estimator to join their team!

They will take a look at a Project Engineer that wants to do estimation!

Responsibility Summary for the Construction Junior Estimator :

• Review and analyze construction project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to gain a deep understanding of project requirements, scope, and objectives.
• Proficiency with takeoff software (Active Takeoff, which is similar to Planswift and Onscreen).
• Utilize industry-standard estimating methods and tools to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for all aspects of construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, permits, and other related expenses.
• Conduct detailed quantity takeoffs from architectural and engineering drawings, identifying the quantities of materials required for each phase of the project.
• Solicit quotes and proposals from various vendors and subcontractors to ensure the most competitive pricing and availability of resources.
• Prepare detailed bid packages, cost breakdowns, and other required documentation for submission to clients, ensuring all bid requirements are met.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of estimates with project objectives.
