Manager, Agile Practices ( remote )

The Manager, Agile Practices will be a member of the PMO Team, reporting to the Director of Project Management. The Manager of Agile Practices will lead the Agile methodology inside the Scrum Team.

This role is a critical role within the organization and is primarily responsible for successfully executing all Scrum Master activities.

Requirements

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Assists Scrum Masters with Agile Best Practices being the Agile Coach for the team.
• Executes repeatable processes and structure to be used across all Scrum Teams.
• Leads issue oriented Agile Ceremonies, mediates, and resolves conflict and ensures accountability of team members.
• Tracks and holds team accountable for SLAs / KPI’s
• Interfaces with IT organization to ensure alignment throughout the organization.
• Identifies project deliverable risks through monitoring development team sprint progress against project delivery dates and escalates to Project Manager when appropriate.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Directly supervises all employees within the Scrum Master department.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
• Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance;

rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and / or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understands waterfall and agile methodologies.
• Advanced knowledge within Jira & Smartsheet
• Proficiency with MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project
