Firebird AST is seeking an onsite All-Source Intelligence Analyst with an active Top Secret / SCI clearance to support the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) in Washington, D.
C. The analyst will be responsible for conducting all-source analysis on intelligence priorities. The contract is pending;
anticipated award is September 2024.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct analysis using intelligence and information from multiple sources to assess, interpret, forecast, and explain command structures of criminal organizations so that law enforcement agencies can better disrupt and dismantle them
- Analyze domestic and international criminal organizations that use illicit drug proceeds and other criminal activities, to promote financing of terrorism and other specified unlawful activity
- Collaborate with law enforcement investigators
- Provide strategic, operational, and tactical analysis as required based on raw intelligence collected from a variety of sources
- Provide all-source intelligence on major drug trafficking, money laundering, and other high priority transnational organized crime networks
- Formulate and disseminate operational and intelligence reporting to senior management and member agencies
- Attend onsite and offsite training to enhance analytical skills to support law enforcement investigations
REQUIRED
- Active DoD or DoJ TS / SCI clearance
- Experience using intelligence tools and databases (Ex : PALANTIR, Analyst Notebook, Google Earth, HOTR, Intelink, TAC, M3, Gemini, GCCS-J, etc)
- Experience creating link analysis of threat networks involved in narcotics, money laundering, human trafficking, and other transnational crimes
- Ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines
- Must possess excellent oral, writing, and coordination skills to communicate factual information clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with analyzing defense intelligence topics, including military capabilities, political-military issues, transnational threats, narcotics or threat finance
- Ability to develop high-quality deliverables tailored to senior policymakers or defense stakeholders
- Experience with applying client writing styles and all-source analytic tradecraft standards, including ICD 203 and ICD 206
- Experience with briefing intelligence products to senior military and government officials
- Experience supporting federal law enforcement agencies with intelligence analysis in transnational threats including money laundering and drug trafficking
- Experience using law enforcement data bases
- Knowledge of IC-standard intelligence and production tools, databases, techniques, and platforms
- Minimum of eight (8) years of all-source intelligence analysis experience
- Must be able to travel to travel to domestic law enforcement agency offices to support law enforcement investigations
