Your Career

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Sr. Staff IT Software Engineer to lead the design, development, testing, and delivery of our next-generation scalable services and applications.

Leveraging advanced technologies such as Python, Django, FastAPI, ReactJS, GraphQL, Docker, and Kubernetes within the Google Cloud Platform, you will play a pivotal role in evolving our architecture.

This is not just a technical role; it’s an opportunity to shape the future of our software engineering practices and mentor the next wave of engineering talent.

As a Sr. Staff Engineer, you will be deeply involved in architectural discussions and decision-making processes, ensuring our solutions are not only innovative but also resilient and scalable.

Your Impact

  • Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement of high-quality software assets
  • Deliver exceptional code with meticulous attention to detail
  • Take a lead role in solution design, working closely with architects to create innovative, scalable architectures
  • Mentor, coach, and onboard new team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning
  • Influence and guide the engineering team in adopting best practices and new technologies

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • Must have strong 8+ years of professional experience as a software engineer
  • Strong 8yrs of Exp in Python, utilizing Django or FastAPI to build fault-tolerant microservice / web architectures
  • Strong Expertise in JavaScript, React, HTML5, CSS3, or SASS
  • Proven experience in designing and building scalable solutions leveraging both relational and NoSQL databases
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Expertise in Docker or similar container management tooling
  • Experience working with Kubernetes is required
  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience required
  • Must be local in SF Bay area

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales / commissioned roles) is expected to be between $145000 - $235500 / YR.
