Are you an experienced Industrial Mechanic looking for a challenging yet rewarding opportunity? We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated 3rd Shift Industrial Mechanic to join our dynamic team.

This permanent full-time position offers the chance to work on a variety of complex machinery and equipment within the construction industry.

You will be part of a dedicated team responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and maintenance of our industrial machines.

The position operates on the 3rd shift, offering a unique work schedule that caters to those who prefer working overnight.

Responsibilities :

As a 3rd Shift Industrial Mechanic, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including :

1. Performing routine and preventative maintenance on various types of machinery and equipment.

2. Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical issues with equipment such as pneumatics and conveyors.

3. Working with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) to control the speed of machinery.

4. Reading and interpreting schematics to diagnose and fix mechanical problems.

5. Collaborating with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.

6. Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

7. Documenting all maintenance and repair work for future reference.

8. Responding to emergency breakdowns and resolving issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate for the 3rd Shift Industrial Mechanic position will have the following qualifications :

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

2. Proficiency in working with pneumatics, conveyors, and VFD.

3. Extensive knowledge of AC / DC electrical systems.

4. Ability to read and understand schematics.

5. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

7. A commitment to safety and adherence to regulations.

8. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects as needed.

9. High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field is a plus.

10. Certification as an Industrial Mechanic or in a related field is preferred.
