This role will be responsible for financial reporting and analysis for a specific division, variance analysis, forecasting, assisting with month-end close, profitability analysis and completion of month-end analytics.

Each Accounting Analyst provides vital team functions :
Month-End Close Assist in month-end financial close process, including cash management and review of financial statements.
Reconcile profit sharing income and perform monthly analytics. Analysis of key financial statement line items. Assist with financial statement audit requests as needed.
Financial Reporting and Analysis Review monthly results and explain variances to budget, prior year. Prepare monthly reports to include in monthly financial package for Divisional leadership.
Help develop, refine, and manage business metrics for monthly / quarterly / annual reporting at both Divisional and business unit level.
Assist with the preparation of quarterly business review decks for executive leadership Perform various and frequent ad hoc analyses as requested
We are looking for people with :
- Must have Accounting or Finance related undergraduate degree.
- Minimum of 3-7 years’ experience in finance or accounting role.
- Experience leading month-end close process preferred.
- Insurance industry experience is preferred, not required.
- CPA is preferred, not required.
