Structural Engineer – Heavy Civil / Infrastructure

Location : Southwest Twin Cities Metro (On-site)

A growing, employee-owned engineering and construction firm is seeking a Professional Structural Engineer (PE) to lead structural design and analysis for large-scale infrastructure projects including bridges, dams, water conveyance systems, reservoirs, tanks, and towers. This role involves creating detailed calculations, drawings, and engineering solutions that meet safety, code, and performance requirements.

Key Qualifications :

Bachelor's in Civil or Structural Engineering (ABET-accredited)

Active PE license (MN or eligible within 6 months)

3–5+ years' structural engineering experience - additionally open to senior level candidates

Background in heavy industrial / infrastructure design (bridges, dams, etc.) - Also open to buildings orstructural productbackgroundslooking to learnnew project types.

Proficiency with AutoCAD or Revit, RISA, STAAD Pro, RAM, or similar software

Strong knowledge of ASCE 7, AISC, seismic / wind design, and load calculations

Responsibilities :

Lead structural design and analysis for temporary and permanent works

Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and engineering teams

Ensure compliance with codes and conduct site inspections

Prepare shop drawings, technical reports, and calculations
