A law firm in San Francisco, CA, is seeking a Senior General M&A Associate Attorney with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and significant business transactions.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent academic credentials, strong transactional skills, and a client-focused approach.
They must demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, superior writing and drafting abilities, and a track record of responsiveness and client relationship management.
Duties :
- Lead and manage complex mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions, including due diligence, structuring, negotiation, and closing.
- Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents, including purchase agreements, merger agreements, and ancillary documents.
- Provide strategic legal advice to clients on M&A and other significant business transactions.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and high-quality service.
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients to ensure successful transaction outcomes.
- Stay current with legal developments and trends in M&A and business transactions.
- Mentor and guide junior associates and support staff in M&A matters.
Requirements :
- 5+ years of law firm experience specializing in mergers and acquisitions and significant business transactions.
- Demonstrated expertise in M&A transactions with a strong track record of successful outcomes.
- Excellent academic credentials and transactional skills.
- Active, in-good-standing state bar license in Washington, California, or Oregon.
- Strong client-service ethic, attention to detail, and responsiveness.
- Proven ability to draft and review complex transactional documents.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Education :
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
Certifications :
Active, in-good-standing state bar license in Washington, California, or Oregon.
