Logistics Clerk
Robert Half is looking for a Logistics Clerk in the Hialeah area that has experience in Import / Export and freight forwarding business.
This position is a contract to hire and allows for tremendous growth opportunity.
Job Description :
- Logistics Clerk must process incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Verify shipment contents and ensure accuracy against orders.
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation.
- Logistics Clerk must maintain accurate inventory records.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and audits.
- Logistics Clerk must report discrepancies and work to resolve inventory issues.
- Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and customers to arrange shipments.
- Schedule pick-ups and deliveries.
- Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Logistics Clerk must prepare and process bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents.
- Maintain records of all transactions and logistics activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
