POSITION OVERVIEW
The Food Runner will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of delectable dishes from the kitchen to our valued guests' tables.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary :
- Work closely with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate the delivery of food orders to the appropriate tables
- Deliver food to the guests' tables promptly and efficiently, avoiding unnecessary delays or interruptions during their dining experience
- Provide friendly and professional service to guests, assisting with any additional requests or inquiries they may have
- Communicate any special instructions or guest preferences to the kitchen staff to ensure the correct preparation of dishes
- Assist in setting up and resetting tables to maintain an inviting and organized dining area for our guests
- Collaborate with servers, cooks, and other staff to create a harmonious and efficient dining service
- Assist in keeping the food service area clean and tidy, including removing empty dishes and glasses from tables
- Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience as a Food Runner or in a similar role within the hospitality industry is a plus
- A keen eye for detail to ensure that dishes are accurately plated and presented to the guests
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods during peak service hours
- A friendly and welcoming attitude towards guests, ensuring their satisfaction is a top priority
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work seamlessly with colleagues to achieve shared goals
- Capable of managing time efficiently to deliver orders in a timely manner without compromising quality
- Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, holidays, and weekends
- Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

The Member must regularly lift and / or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and / or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
