Cordia Resources is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant. In this role, you will provide crucial support in the areas of reconciliations, month-end close, and journal entries.

Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in the preparation and posting of journal entries to ensure accurate financial records.
- Support the month-end close process, including account reconciliations and the preparation of financial statements.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of various accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with other members of the finance team to ensure the integrity of the financial reporting process.
- Maintain and organize financial documents and records.
- Assist with audits and other accounting projects as needed.
- Provide support for any other accounting tasks or projects as required.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work with complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Previous experience or internships in accounting is a plus, but not required.
