The Public Health Informatics Analyst works across multiple internal divisions and program areas to enhance the utilization of existing informatics solutions.
Works to optimize the collection, analysis, and reporting of public health data in line with the department's data modernization goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Works with Public Health program areas to enhance the utilization of existing informatics solutions within Public Health.
- Works with end users of public health information systems to help them articulate their program and reporting needs.
- Develops and maintains training to increase Public Health staff competencies in utilizing public health information systems.
- Establishes and provides ongoing support of knowledge management processes and tools to ensure continued organizational viability and progress toward vision.
- Maintains high level of knowledge of current public health and population health informatics applications, trends, and changes in various health information technologies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements

TO APPLY, must have a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Informatics, Biostatistics, Data Science, or a related field + Two (2) full-time years of public health, healthcare, or hospital work experience
TO APPLY , must have a Master ’s degree or higher in Public Health, Informatics, Biostatistics, Data Science, or a related field.
Master’s degree is highly preferred.
Development experience in QuickBase or similar No Code / Low Code relational database plus Microsoft SharePoint is required .
Experience in API, JSON, or HTML programming skills is preferred.
Knowledge of project management is preferred.
If hired, must provide proof of educational attainment
