Pay Range : $63k-$92k
What You Will Do :
- Tactical application of all company Quality, Environmental Health and Safety policies, procedures, and programs.
- Quality Auditing : Product Audits / Process Audits; facilitate CorrectiveActions
- Manage and develop RCA / Implement Corrective Actions / escalate asapplicable
- Maintain Plant Quality metrics and Dashboard and participate in Plant Quality Reviews
- Assure Manufacturing Quality, monitor and review Error Proofing Controls at every level
- Data collection / analysis / improvement projects (Green Belt level projects)
- Assist with the control / monitoring / changes to the Manufacturing Execution System to achieve effective Quality controls / monitoring andimprovement
- Advanced Quality Planning, Plant pilots / new product introductions, reports / improvement projects
- Support the overall continual improvement of quality effort for the site to drive increasing quality performance with the customer.
- Support the safety requirements of a continuous flow manufacturing process to meet production and quality standards.
- Coordinates Safety training / orientation of factory employees and ensures training is current and meets regulatory requirements.
- Performs inspections and helps with incident investigations, conducts safety audits, assists in the preparation of reports and interacts with Corporate EH&S, regulatory agencies, consultants and vendors.
- Administers and maintains documents for all EH&S policies, written programs, and training programs
- Maintains critical safety records and statistics. Provides accurate and timely reports to Corporate EH&S.
- Monitors risk management activities necessary to ensure the company maintains a safe work environment for employees and that they are in compliance with federal, state and / or local requirements.
What you will need :
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of staff and work well independently or on a team.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college is preferred, but not required; or three or more years of related experience or training;
or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Directly related experience in a safety related position.
- Threeor moreyearsrelevant experience in a Quality role
- Lean Manufacturing experience - green belt a plus.
- Prior or current certification with OSHA (30 hour), Adult First Aid / CPR / AED preferred
- General knowledge of local, state and federal environmental and safety regulations, standards and best practices
