- Hybrid position, to be on-site in downtown San Diego office two days a week (Monday and Thursday)

YOUR SPECIFIC ROLE
You will be contributing to the agency by championing the customer and brand through anthropology-based strategy. You will be conducting research and managing outcomes for guiding marketing approaches.
You will be helping investigate the nuances between customer, culture, brand, and marketing while helping our teams be more thoughtful in our creative approaches.
Overall making sure the agency maintains strategy as a healthy component to our services. In this role you will be blending creativity, analytical skills, marketing, and a deep understanding of cultural dynamics.
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Strategy to determine best approaches for project outcomes.
- Use diverse research methods to uncover cultural insights that inform marketing strategy.
- Implement fieldwork, digital ethnography, and rapid assessment survey techniques to gather data on brand and audience perspectives.
- Use digital tools such as social listening and online survey methods to understand customer behavior and cultural nuances.
- Analyze research findings to provide actionable insights and drive client outcomes.
- Synthesize complex data to create a holistic perspective for marketers.
- Conduct and lead interviews and focus groups to capture qualitative data.
- Study regional, generational, and current event influences on audience perceptions and brand interactions.
- Ensure research activities adhere to ethical standards and respect confidentiality of all participants.
- Work closely with clients to understand their vision, mission, and values to be able to incorporate as necessary within research influences.
- Communicate research insights and strategic recommendations to fellow internal team members and clients in a clear and compelling manner.
- Stay current with the latest research methodologies and incorporate innovative techniques into your approach when applicable.
- Be comfortable with the world of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and understand when it makes sense to apply this technology into your work.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of research projects, ensuring they meet agency objectives and deadlines.
- Work closely with fellow client experience and creative team members for thoughtful influence to client active project outcomes.
