The Department of Music at California State University San Marcos is accepting applications for Fall 2024. Seeking a Music Instructor to teach Music 240 / 340 : Applied Vocal Lessons.

Minimum Qualifications :

• A bachelor's degree in music
• Per the California State University’s Out-of-State Employment Policy, the CSU is prohibited from hiring employees to perform CSU-related work outside California.

Working in the State of California is a condition of employment.

Preferred Qualifications :

• A master's degree in music
• Significant experience in professional vocal / instrumental performance
• Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated commitment to diversity, inclusivity, and / or intercultural competence with diverse groups in relation to teaching.
