• Our pediatric clinic has a full-time position available for a Pediatric Occupational Therapist.
• We serve families with children birth-three, school-aged children, and beyond.
• This is a unique opportunity to treat clients in a child-friendly, state-of-the-art pediatric clinic, private school, home and daycare.
• We are mainly pediatrics, but you may have the opportunity to work with older adolescents and adults.

Our community includes infants, children, and adolescents, from Missoula, MT and the surrounding area. We value building strong connections with our clients and their families.

We hire from various work-experience backgrounds, but a therapist who LOVES children and play-based therapy is a must. At our clinic, PTs, OTs, MH providers and SLPs work together to help our clients, and increase their own knowledge base.

A background in pediatrics is preferred, but new graduates are also welcome to apply.

Qualifications :

• Current Montana occupational therapy license
• Graduate of an accredited program of occupational therapy
• Current HS AED CPR
• Experience working with children

Job duties :

• Demonstrates the ability to effectively plan, communicate and delegate to provide therapy services in a competent and efficient manner.
• Performs all patient treatment according to established occupational therapy standards and department policies and procedures.
• Performs necessary technical skills as delineated by education, experience and as evaluated in the organizations Clinical Competency Checklist.
• Demonstrates an ability to respond to a changing workload in a positive and professional manner. Responds to changing workloads and patient conditions by : remaining calm, making objective assessments, prioritizing, and asking for assistance
• Exhibits excellent customer service and communication techniques.
• Ability to enhance rehabilitation services by participating in projects within the department, the facility and the community.
• Completes all required documentation in a timely manner according to payer guidelines (Medicare, Private Insurance, Medicaid) and Montana practice guidelines for Occupational therapy.
• Travels to outreach clinics / sites to perform therapy services as needed.
