RESPONSIBILITIES

- Drives trucks in a safe manner to specified locations to pick up aggregate and deliver it to the Block and Dry Mix Plants.
- Unloads aggregate at plant in area specified by Plant Manager or Plant Superintendent.
- Maintains good communication with shift supervisors as to changing aggregate demand.
- Loads material from the waste pile and delivers to appropriate recycling vendor.
- Operates the Front-End Loader to push up and maintain stock piles and to load waste.
- Completes daily delivery log books.
- Performs daily inspections checklists on truck and trailer as required by DOT.
- Performs daily inspections checklists on Front-End Loader and performs greasing of pivot points on prescribed schedule.
- Use Company, daily checklists for any other equipment operated including forklifts.
- After checking vehicles, reports any maintenance or safety issues immediately to your supervisor.
- Maintains work area and equipment according to company specifications for cleanliness and safety.
- Performs all other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time by the company or its designated representative.
- Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
- Regular attendance is required.
