Job Description

What You’ll Do :

As a Cake Decorator at Festival Foods, you will :

  • Decorate Bakery Items : Top, finish, and decorate a variety of bakery products, including bars, pies, cookies, doughnuts, cupcakes, and cakes.
  • Enhance Visual Appeal : Boost sales by creating visually appealing and unique bakery items that exceed our guests' expectations.
  • Customer Service : Provide excellent service by assisting guests with their bakery needs, taking special orders, and bringing their cake design visions to life.
  • Stock and Maintain Displays : Keep bakery displays fresh and appealing by rotating products and ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Quality and Freshness : Maintain high-quality standards by ensuring products are fresh and removing any items that do not meet our standards.
  • Collaborate : Work closely with the Cake Decorator II and other bakery associates to achieve department goals and maintain cleanliness and organization.
  • Food Safety : Keep food safety logs up to date and adhere to all food safety guidelines.
  • Honor Commitments : Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences
  • Support the Team : Other duties as assigned

  • Attention to Detail : Meticulous attention to detail to ensure products are decorated beautifully and meet quality standards.

  • Standing for extended periods of time (80% of time)

Work Schedule :

This is an hourly position with a flexible schedule that typically includes mornings, afternoons, weekends, and the potential for evening and holiday shifts as needed.
