Description

This internal resource works with Commercial Division RMs and loan originators to process consumer loan applications through the department's application and origination platforms.

This includes ensuring all appropriate information is obtained at application, regulatory requirements are met, collateral support information is obtained, financial documents are obtained and analyzed, and proper loan documents are obtained and delivered.

A high level of customer service is required recognizing the importance of timeliness and excellent communication skills.

Location : Position is eligible for hybrid work in the Greater Spokane Region

Essential Functions

  • Provides direct communication with originating Commercial / Private Banking officers or their designate to address regulatory compliance questions, request loan / borrower information, determines proper loan product / structure.
  • Understands, at a high level, consumer regulatory requirements.
  • Interprets financial information and understand basic underwriting requirements.
  • Interprets credit report information to provide accurate communication to RMs and originators.
  • With proficiency, uses the department's application and underwriting platforms to perform all tasks required.
  • Works with third party vendors and internal business partners to order collateral support documentation as needed with emphasis on real estate such as appraisals and title policies.
  • Manages all tasks through a pipeline report and be able to provide updates as requested.
  • Performs all tasks with a high level of customer service.
  • Complies with all CRC policies and procedures.
  • Performs compliance and risk management duties as required or assigned
  • Regular, reliable attendance required.

Related Functions

  • Works closely with appropriate department managers to communicate issues or identify improvements to the assigned workflow.
  • Participates in activities that will enhance the working relationship with the RMs and loan originators.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned by Operations / Systems Manager or CRC Manager.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Commercial and Private Banking lending, including a high level of understanding of relationship considerations when lending to individuals and their business interests.
  • Understanding of loan products and collateral requirements unique to relationship lending, including all types of real estate.
  • Proficiency in lending regulations and the ability to communicate requirements to RMs and originators, within the timelines allowed.
  • Time management and organizational skills; ability to coordinate own work and work with others to keep projects on task.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, analytical, problem solving and reasoning skills.

Compensation : $22.61 - $33.94

The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position located in Spokane, WA.

Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
