As a Plastipak Engineering Support Technician, you will be responsible for observing mechanical devices in operation and have the ability to trouble shoot to locate causes of issues to make proper repairs while adhering to all Good Manufacturing Practices, GMP rules.

You Will
- Be responsible for planning, conducting & coordinating detailed phases of project proposals & schedules.
- Develop scopes & budget estimates for project work.
- Plan & direct maintenance & operation, & monitor treatment plant pumps, motors, chemical feed systems along with other equipment to assure optimum plant performance.
- Direct troubleshooting of equipment & plan routine preventative maintenance.
- Plan, direct, compile, maintain, & update accurate maintenance documentation, plant log & various reports.
- Communicates project objectives, challenges, & scope
- Manage multiple projects (often concurrently), working closely with all stakeholders to ensure communication
- Research & specify products, equipment, & systems
- Conduct calculations of heating / cooling load, ventilation quantities and equipment for mechanical systems
- Conduct assessment of existing systems and provide recommendations for refurbishment or replacement
You Have
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
- Registered Professional Engineer License preferred
- 5+ years of experience with Mechanical Systems , HVAC Required
- 5+ years experience relative to medium / large commercial and institutional HVAC systems, including industrial compressor and pump applications
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary collaborative environment
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- The ability to effectively communicate and function at a high level within a team environment
- Exceptional planning, analytical and problem solving skills
- Critical thinking and planning skills
