The Executive Assistant will support the day-to-day operations of the Executive Director and the nonprofit’s overall administrative functions.
This role is ideal for someone seeking hands-on experience in the nonprofit sector. The Executive Assistant will help manage communications, organize files, support event logistics, gather and track impact data, and complete various administrative tasks to help the organization run smoothly.
Location : Mostly remote. Training at 4243 SE Belmont St STE 100, Portland, OR 97215
Core Duties :
- Organize and maintain physical and digital files, ensuring easy access and up-to-date records.
- Review and organize incoming emails, flagging important communications and drafting responses as needed.
- Communicate with community members, volunteers, and partners, ensuring clear, timely, and professional correspondence.
- Support the Executive Director with various administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and conducting research.
- Other relevant duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Must have Federal Work Study funds in Financial Aid Package (contact [email protected] with questions)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Interest in the nonprofit sector and community development is a plus.
- Experience with Google Suite.
Physical Requirements :
- Can lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
- Can transport self to various locations.
