Associate Attorney

Our firm is a boutique firm focusing on estate planning, probate and trust administration, and estate litigation, including financial elder abuse litigation.

We are now searching for an associate to join us in our Ontario, California office.
This position will be cross-trained in our various practice areas and has a requirement of 1,680 yearly billable hours.
About You
You have 1-5 years experience, preferably including some litigation experience or the willingness to become a litigator. You are accustomed to handling a file from start to finish and are a self-starter.
You have an interest in learning various practice areas and appreciate the mentorship of a senior attorney. You have strong writing skills and excellent attention to detail.
You have a reputation for being hard working and work well independently and as part of a team. You are searching for a career and not just a job.
Your duties will include but are not limited to :
Research
Drafting pleadings
Responding to discovery
Conducting depositions
Drafting correspondence
Communicating with clients
Estate planning
Probate and trust administration
Education & Requirements
1-5 years experience, preferably as a civil litigator but not required
Licensed to practice law in California
Courtroom experience preferred
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
Superb written and oral communication skills
Willingness to learn various practice areas
Coachable
Salary is commensurate with experience.

Salary Range : $90,000 to $150,000 depending on experience
